The 1625 nm Filter Module (SC/APC) is a passive optical component designed to separate the 1625 nm wavelength—typically used for OTDR-based fiber monitoring—from active transmission wavelengths such as 1310 nm, 1490 nm, and 1550 nm. It enables non-intrusive, in-service fiber testing without disrupting live data traffic. Housed in a standard LGX module, the bypass unit maintains excellent optical performance with low insertion loss and high isolation, ensuring reliable monitoring access in GPON, XGS-PON, RFoG, and other FTTx networks.
